Another great travel outfit! We have made quite a few cotton sets lately. The fun impact of them has come from fun fabric prints and the choice of simple design line patterns.

This gem of a fabric store in the Blue Mountains has a wonderful range of quilting equipment and cottons.
They found this Shooting Star Storm Unfurl Fabric by Anna Maria Horner in the purple and green colourway and got it for Lauren.
Patterns: New Look 6561 and McCall’s 8221
New Look 6561 is an easy-to-sew boxy blouse style with a button front and convertible collar. The pattern comes with multiple length options and sleeve designs.
For this, we used view C with the short sleeves and hem line finishing at the hips.

McCall’s 8221 was our choice of pattern for these shorts. They are quick to sew with a font, back and pocket pieces. One could claimed they are pj shorts and you wouldn’t be blamed for this. They are such a comfortable wear with an elastic waist.
