Our favourite colours are green and purple, so it is no surprise that we instantly fell in love with this “Countryside Cluster” print. If you gaze at it for long enough, it feels like you’re looking out into a peaceful cottage garden! With such a lovely blend of colours and florals, we couldn’t resist
Fabric: Minerva Exclusive Countryside Cluster Heavy Triple Crepe POD Fabric
This is the Minerva Exclusive Countryside Cluster Heavy Triple Crepe. We’ve worked with Minerva Triple Crepe on numerous occasions, and it’s become one of our favourite Minerva fabrics. The dense, matte-crepe weave offers a beautiful drape, with substantial weight and crease resistance. The fabric is comfortable to wear, and is perfect for structured designs but also has wonderful drape – what a great combination!
Pattern: Vogue 2043
As soon as Vogue 2043 was released, it went straight onto our ‘make list’. This pattern beautifully combines tailoring with feminine draping – some of the great attributes you find with Vogue patterns. It’s an unlined dress featuring an asymmetric front drape on the bodice and a bias-cut skirt. The pattern offers the choice of full-length tapered sleeves or fuller bishop sleeves with button cuffs. While we opted not to make the belt, the pattern does include a self-covered buckle belt.
